Linux for Dummies, 10th Edition

posted on Saturday, December 26th, 2020 - 9:39pm

It's been a long time, but I finally had the opportunity to update my Linux for Dummies book. The 10th edition focuses on two popular desktop Linux distributions - Ubuntu and openSuSE. The book walks through how to prepare your Windows workstation to load Linux, and how to install each distribution. After that the book goes through both desktop environments (GNOME 3 and KDE Plasma), as well as the common desktop applications you'd want to run. Check out this updated edition if you're interested in running a Linux desktop!
